Practitioners
A Religious Science Practitioner is trained in the art, the act, and the science of Spiritual Mind Treatment (positive prayer) to assist a person with healing mental, emotional, and physical problems. Often the root of our problems does not originate in Spirit, and is usually the effect of erroneous thinking, unresolved inner conflict, and/or emotional chaos as a result of suppressed or unreconciled feelings, old beliefs, and habits.
A practitioner talks with you, and processes the thoughts and emotions that have caused the disease, condition, or conflict you are seeking help with. Part of the time is spent in learning about spiritual principles and how the use of these principles produce certain physical results. You are taught how to be harmonious in your thinking, emotions, and actions, and how to trust in God and ininevitable good. A Spiritual Mind Treatment always follows this discovery process. Through positive prayer harmful thoughts are removed and replaced with the Truth so that complete healing can take place-- mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical.

Carolyn became a Practitioner in 1997 after studying with Dr. Warren Chester. In 1999 she also earned certification as Practitioner of Religious Science from the Emerson Institute. Having been a member of Bear Valley Center for Spiritual Enrichment since 1991 she has enjoyed opportunities to serve as volunteer, board member, board treasurer, and board president, several times. In 1995 Carolyn began a meditation group, for our center, in her home at 10:AM every Wed. All are welcome to join in as this group continues touching the Light within for ourselves, our community, and our world. Carolyn has served DOVES as a volunteer and board member for over 25 years and was honored by Soroptimist International with their Women Helping Women award for her work with victims of domestic violence. |

Sally received her practitioner license from Dr. Warren Chester in 1997. Sally has been with the Big Bear Grizzly for over 29 years as the Sales Support Coordinator and Circulation Manager. A BVCSE Board member and Sunday School Teacher, Sally also sings with our choir, High Spirits, and brings her grandchildren Amanda, Dillon, and Rayvan to the Center each Sunday. The kids love being involved and they are learning so much from all the adults. Sally holds firm to the Spirit within everyone knowing we are always guarded, guided and directed in perfection.

Sherrie Kral Sherrie Kral is presently taking classes to become a practitioner through the Claremont Center of Spiritual Living in Claremont, California. She will be licensed Practitioner through The Centers of Spiritual Living, in June, 2011. After teaching elementary school in Claremont for 37 years, she retired and soon after started her Science of Mind studies. She is serving presently on the BVCSE board, heads the Center’s Prayer Team and periodically fills in for the Administrative Assistant at the Claremont Center of Spiritual Living. Sherrie is looking forward to the days when she can spend more time in Big Bear than Upland.
